Description
This digital camera presentation is an instructional tool to be used as an introduction of the various genres of art that each student will produce in the classroom. It also gives information regarding the artist that made that particular artwork popular in its time. This will also exhibit the student work at the Annual Spring Art festival at Walker Mill.
Reflection:
I completely underestimated the time and effort it would take to create an instructional use photo story. Taking the pictures was the easy part. The storybook software did not have the flexibility of the Word Movie maker which I am familiar with. It needed more time with the music because I was unable to increase or decrease the length according to my slides with music not found on the photostory software.
This presentation is going to be used by the art teacher to (1) be placed on the web, (2) the spring art festival and (3) for introduction to the art class. I really gained a lot of experience and know how using this software which I feel will equip me to use even more sophisticated software for the same purpose. Any teacher would benefit from using this technology as a instructional tool.
